THEN WHAT TO DO WITH THE REST OF THE DAY

We did spend some time at Cavendish
but it certainly was crowded. I
would have like to spend longer.
Roadtrips call for compromise that
is a fact. Being that we had visited
that spot a few times before.....
need I say more.
Knowing that the best suggestions
come a local I approached a woman
with her daughter and grandson. Not
really difficult to find a local.
Look for someone not carrying a map
or camera. Their suggestion was a
good one. With directions we found
ourselves at the wharf aptly named
Mrs. Peake's. I'm sure there is a
historical backdrop to the name.
A covered stage with a grassy area
in front provided the spot for the
afternoon entertainment. Two young
talented men sang and played guitar
as we meandered around or sat and
enjoyed the music. Several little
stores to walk thru. Many having a
picture of William and Kate.
Apparently this was one of the stops
on PEI that they made. Great advertising
for their shops as you could read the
Shop name behind the crowds. A nice way
to end the day.
